Eureka! Education visits are designed for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and Key Stages 1, 2 and 3

Our Play & Learning Team are experts at researching and developing new content for our galleries and programmes, and hunting out world-class specialists to work with on our projects. We ensure that our galleries and programmes are curriculum-linked and that all learning is up-to-date, relevant and reliable.

All this and more means that you can be confident that a class visit to Eureka! is a day well spent.

All school visits now include a science show, workshop or – for classes visiting Wirral – time in The Burrow. Find out more

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Eureka! welcomes visits from Nurseries and Reception classes, in fact we even have two galleries specifically designed for nursery and reception children at Halifax and our Under 7s area, The Burrow, at our Wirral venue.

We ensure that the EYFS framework is a fundamental consideration when developing content for all of our galleries, however, time to explore our two Early Years galleries or The Burrow is an absolute must. All three spaces are sensory and immersive, with numerous opportunities to explore and play.

Key Stages 1, 2 and 3

We ensure that a trip to Eureka! helps schools achieve a broad and balanced curriculum in Key Stages 1, 2 and 3.

We’re pleased the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework recognises the value of extra-curricular activities that develop pupils’ ‘cultural capital’. We’re passionate about inspirational cultural experiences!

Our galleries and programmes have been created to help pupils from Year 1 through to Year 6 develop understanding. At Eureka! learning isn’t about memorising disconnected facts.
